Who exactly is this community for?

While much of our content is geared toward therapists, Mental Health Mingle is designed for all licensed mental health professionals—including therapists, counselors, psychologists, social workers, and more. Our goal is to provide a central mental health community where professionals can connect, access valuable mental health resources, and receive essential peer support to grow in their practice.

What are your membership options?

We offer both monthly and annual membership options. You can cancel your membership at any time, whether you choose a monthly or annual plan. Please note that your mental health community membership will stay active through the current billing cycle, but we do not offer refunds or prorations for any unused time.

Are there guidelines for interacting w/other members?

Yes! We have a few guidelines to ensure that our mental health community remains a supportive and respectful space for all mental health professionals.

• Respect and Fairness: Treat all members fairly and with respect. Engage in stimulating conversations while being mindful of others’ feelings and opinions, even when you disagree.

• No Discriminatory or Hostile Behavior: Discriminatory, hostile, or intimidating language will not be tolerated. This includes any discrimination based on race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, social or economic class, education level, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, size, family status, political beliefs, religion, or mental and physical abilities.

• Intellectual Property: Respect intellectual property rights. Avoid plagiarism and give proper credit to original creators.

• Privacy: Do not share posts from other members without permission, and never share any posts outside the community.

 

Discussion Group Etiquette

 

• Appropriate Language: Use professional and respectful language. Avoid profanity, slurs, threatening, or offensive language.

• Confidentiality: As a mental health forum, Mental Health Mingle is a safe space for professionals to connect. Please maintain confidentiality at all times.

• No Spam or Solicitation: Focus on building relationships and supporting your peers, without spamming or soliciting other members.

• Mindful Communication: Be thoughtful of your tone and language in written comments, as tone can be hard to interpret. Also, remember that not everyone’s first language is the same.

Do you offer continuing education credits?

We understand many of you were interested in continuing education (CE) opportunities. While we're currently focusing on building a strong foundation of knowledge without CE requirements, we're thrilled to announce the launch of our first continuing education course on Mental Health Mingle!

 

This course prioritizes high-quality content and affordability, ensuring everyone has access to valuable information. It's the first step in a journey of learning and growth alongside our amazing community. As Mental Health Mingle evolves, we'll be sure to introduce more educational offerings, including potential CE opportunities in the future. We’ll also be periodically uploading on-demand videos covering a variety of mental health topics.  This means you can access valuable information and resources at your own convenience.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your membership to Mental Health Mingle at any time. However, please note that we do not offer refunds for any unused portion of your membership. If you choose to cancel, your membership will be terminated at the end of your current billing cycle. Please contact our customer support team if you have any questions or concerns about canceling your membership.

Is content added on a regular basis?

Yes, we understand the importance of providing our members with up-to-date and relevant information. That's why we regularly update and add content to our website. We also encourage our members to share their own experiences and insights through our community forums and blog posts. You can expect to find new articles, resources, and tools on a regular basis.
